UNRA introduces e-pay system for Entebbe Expressway toll

The Uganda National Roads Authority-UNRA has introduced an electronic payment system for the Entebbe Expressway toll. Allen Kagina, the UNRA ED says this shall directly ease payment by road users to top up their cards with comfort wherever they are without physically going to the toll plaza. EACOP applies for license to construct Hoima-Tanga oil pipeline

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline-EACOP, the firm spearheading the development of Uganda’s crude oil export pipeline, has applied for the license to start the construction of the heated and buried crude oil pipeline from Uganda to Tanzania. The Uganda Tourism Board has announced plans to use Karuma hydropower dam to promote leisure industry in the country. Lilly Ajarova, the Chief Executive Officer of UTB is optimistic that once completed, the dam shall guarantee the sustainability of the sector. Court Grants Besigye, Mukaaku Ugx2.5 million Cash Bail

The Chief Magistrates Court at Buganda Road has today 1st July, 2022 granted bail to Dr. Kizza Besigye and his Co-accused Samuel Lubega Mukaaku.
