The head of Lango Paramount Chief Eng. Micheal Moses Odongo Okune has asked the Youth of the sub region against engaging in street Demonstrations which he said are imported from the Western Cultures and may not necessarily solve problems but rather cause havoc in our nation.

The Won Nyaci as referred to in lango noted with concern that there is a section of Youth who claim to be so disgruntled and by the influence of the western culture and some self-seeking mobilizers, are misled into riots.

He highlighted that the youth wherever they are in the city of Kampala going about their businesses, thye should remember how the NRM government liberated their kinsmen from the LRA rebels who for over ten years caused misery and peace less nights.

Ondong Okune advised instead that instead of wasting energy in running battles, burning tyres, throwing petrol bombs and pelting the Police and security agencies, they should instead spend that energy working for a living.

He warned all the youth from cooperating with people that are dealing with foreign powers to cause chaos in Uganda for their hidden agendas.

Won Nyaci also called upon people to stop leading a careless lifestyle of drunkenness, extravagance and poor investment.

In his concluding remarks, Okune called upon the Government to address issues of the youth which include un employment and skills development saying some times the youth have genuine outcries which are handled with less attention.
