The Court of Appeal has dismissed the bail appeal filed by legislators Muhammad Ssegirinya and Allan Sewanyana.
On Wednesday, the Court of Appeal trashed their bail appeal and ordered State to expedite their trial in the High Court.
The legislators had challenged the decision of the High Court sitting in Masaka district that had earlier denied their bail application.

The Uganda National Teachers’ Union (UNATU) has temporarily called off the strike and ordered the striking teachers to resume work with immediate effect.
