Two Policemen dead, 11 injured as Police patrol car overturns on Gulu- Kitgum highway

Two police officers have died and 11 others critically injured after the patrol Land Cruiser vehicle they were traveling in overturned at Paicho Trading Centre, along the Gulu-Kitgum Highway, on Monday, December 12.

The Police patrol Land Cruiser with registration number UP 5568 was transporting officers from the FFU to Agago for special duty under the command of Aswa zonal ASP Okalebu Joseph.T

The deceased have been identified as PC Epodoi Pius and PC Odong D Marvin, while the eleven injured have been identified asO dong Jacob, CPl,  PC Opio Junior Peter, PC Omara Keneth, PC Okello Daniel, PC Candia James, PC: Ochora Simon, PC Ekoju Vicent, PC Awuzu Vicent, PCJohn Okwera, PC Okure Abraham and PC Torach Cavin-D driver.c

According to the Police, the injured officers are being treated at Gulu Regional Referral Hospital.
