President Museveni Sends Special Eid Al-Adha Message

President Museveni has extended warm wishes and joined the Muslim Community in Uganda and worldwide in celebrating Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice.

In his message, President Museveni emphasized the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim, highlighting sacrifice as the foundation of religion.

He noted that Uganda took a great sacrifice for the patriots to restore peace and stability in order to create an enabling environment for the development and social-economic transformation of the country.

The President urged the Muslim community to apply prophet Ibrahim’s spirit of sacrifice to all aspects of their lives including working hard to annex all the natural resources that Uganda is blessed with to create wealth and strong homes
