President Museveni Backs Mindset Institute for Ugandan Youth Empowerment

President Yoweri Museveni has authorized plans to establish a mindset institute in Uganda to groom young people.

This was revealed during a meeting on Monday January 1, 2024, with Rev. Dr Park at his country home in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district.

Rev. Dr. Ock Soo Park, a South Korean Evangelist and founder of International Youth Fellowship informed the President of their plan to set up a mindset institute in Uganda to groom young people.

“We have all the plans to get the mind education up and running in this country for young people, ” Dr. Park said.

The President welcomed the idea of setting up the mindset institute in Uganda.

“That is a very good idea because that is what our people here need,” the President said.

Hon. Godfrey Kabbyanga Baluku, the Minister of State for ICT and National Guidance, commended the International Youth Fellowship for its good work in changing the mindset of the young people.

Rev. James Kim, the chairman of the International Youth Fellowship Uganda also informed the President that they have been training many public servants including teachers and the youth I mind education for the last ten years.

Additionally, he said that they are working with the Ministry of Public Service to train civil servants in mindset change.

Rev. Dr. Park is the founder of the International Youth Fellowship a worldwide youth organization and international NGO based on a Christian mindset aimed at raising leaders with a global insight through youth education, and activities and providing realistic solutions to problems in the global village.
