It has finally come to light how a group of youths from the people power movement have been organized to disrupt music show around the country by throwing items on stage targeting performers and promoters that are opposed to their agenda.

This follows a number of attacks that disrupted shows over the festive season which culminated in the hurling of water bottles at music star Big Eye during the “enkuka” show in Lubiri.

The aim of the attacks is to po tray and air of discontent and animosity towards people that are anti people power. The groups are hired and coordinated by some of the well known event organizations like Abbey Musinguzi aka Abitex and Banjoman.

The goons are placed strategically near the show stages and are given bottles pre-filled with urine and are allowed to access the events ahead of time.

The attacks are meant to incite revellers into acts of animosity towards the government and also make it costly for pro government event organizers to do business and hence offer support. They are also aimed at making it socially, economically and political expensive to Associate Positively with the NRM.

Evidence of their organization and structure was witnessed at a show were Catherine Kusasira performed which had multiple stages but she was only attacked when she attempted to perform on a stage that was managed by Abitex.

No such attacks have been seen at other events organized by non radicals like Balaam and even those organized by Bebe Cool.
