131 Saved from being Trafficked to the Middle East, 2 Suspects Arrested
Two suspects are in custody after the Territorial Police in Kampala Metropolitan North and Nansana Division raided World Gate Training Centre, on July 31, 2023, a home that was harbouring 131 persons under the disguise of training and inducting them for the labour market in the Middle East.
The Police identified the two suspects as, Namubiru Rashida, a trainer, and Ramathan Hakim, were arrested for alleged trafficking in persons.
