The African Family Unit Faces Extinction with the Invasion of Homosexuality

Family is very important throughout Africa; families are building blocks of African society. Most people in Africa live in households that include not only the father, mother, and children, but also other extended family members like grandparents, aunt’s cousins and others.

A family is a group of persons united by the ties of marriage, blood, or adoption, constituting a single household and interacting with each other in their respective social positions, usually those of spouses, parents, children, and siblings.

However, with the invasion of homosexuality, will this same family unit stand? Who will be the father, uncle, brother, grandfather, mother, sister, grandmother, if men get married to fellow men and women fellow women?

There are many issues regarding sexuality being faced by our culture, and homosexuality is the biggest one yet. Assuming that this vice is picked on and takes full root in our present day African society setting, what will the population be like in the next two years. Africans will be almost wiped out.

Many westernized Africans will argue that it is very possible to have children and continue expanding the family unit, but reality is can a man marry a man or woman marry a woman and bear children naturally?

This whole homosexuality issue is meant to wipe out the African continent; our European friends have improved in technology, which means they can have test tube babies, but look at our people in Africa who cannot afford these amenities. If we embrace the vice, and can’t grow our population, the Europeans who can with technology will likely colonize us again with their vast numbers.

According to Genesis 1:26–28; So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply.”

If the creator commanded man and woman to go and be fruitful and multiply, why then is man saying man was created for fellow man and woman for fellow woman. Where does God’s law then of creation go wrong, was it easy for him to have said man is good for fellow man, and not waste time creating a woman from a man’s rib as his helper.

Notable African families have fulfilled the lord’s command which includes large family practice, hard work and extended family system; which risk extinction should society allow the vice to grow.
