VIVO Energy Hands Over Service Bay To Ministry Of Works And Transport

Ministry of Works and Transport together with vivo energy have launched a state of the art service bay with fluid control system and metered air stand.

The first ultra-modern car service bar was commissioned by Gen. Wamala Katumba yesterday the 9th of March 2022 and Installed by Vivo Energy Uganda.

VIVO Energy Uganda Ltd is Oil marketing Company that supplies Shell Petroleum products to various customers including the Ministry of works and transport.

The facility will offer customized solutions and quality Shell lubricants to service vehicles given that the service bar offers a fluid control system and metered air stands.

During the commissioning ceremony, Gen Katumba Wamala also congratulated gallant ladies for commemorating the international women’s day that was celebrated yesterday 8th March 2022.

“It’s a great pleasure to officiate this ceremony to commission this newly revamped service bay and join the Ministry Staff, all esteemed guests and our gallant ladies present here in commemoration of the International Women’s Day that was celebrated yesterday worldwide,8th March 2022. I congratulate you all.” Gen Katumba said.

He said that the project to revamp a service bay and other engineering projects within the ministry have been led and executed by lady engineers and other technical personnel to engage women in previously male dominated disciplines.
