The Uganda Cranes contingent has safely arrived at Houari Boumedience airport in Algiers for the seventh African Nations Championship (CHAN) edition of the unique competition meant exclusively for home based players.

According to FUFA, the team was officially welcomed by H.E the Ambassador of Uganda to Algeria and the Maghreb region John Crysostom Alintuma Nsambu.

FUFA has also revealed that from Algiers, the contingent will connect to Annaba where the team will play its group games starting with Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday 14th January 2023.

The sports experts hope Uganda Cranes will still triumph over its neighbor basing on 2-0 victory over DRC in 2019.
