2,000 Somalia Army recruits complete training course

Over 2000 Somali National Army recruits have successfully completed their Special Basic Military Training Course Intake 02/23 and are ready to defend Somalia in its pursuit for peace and stability. During their pass out yesterday June 30, 2023, at the Special Mission Training Center (SMTC) Wing Two, Butiaba in Wantembo Barracks found in Buliisa district, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohammed, who was represented by the Somali Minister of Defense, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur applauded recruits’ commitment for prioritizing to defend their country and reinforcing the Somali National Army (SNA).

“What awaits you isn’t going to be easy and Somalia still needs and is already waiting for you,” President Hassan warned SNA recruits.
