The third deputy prime minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Rukia Nakadama, has led the delegation, which also includes the senior presidential advisor on diaspora affairs, Ambassador Hajji Abbey Walusimbi, and the minister of the presidency, Hon. Milly Babalanda, among others.

Minister Nakadama will engage the Canadian business community and the Ugandan diaspora to draw investment back home, as well as host meetings to unite Ugandans in the diaspora. The 2023 seminar aims to assist Ugandans in Canada in investing back home and discussing economic opportunities in Uganda.

The upcoming 2023 symposium has a clear objective: to empower Ugandans residing in Canada with the necessary tools and knowledge to invest in their home country. The event will serve as a platform for attendees to engage in fruitful discussions surrounding the various business opportunities available in Uganda, enabling them to explore and potentially embark on new ventures.
