The last night’s accident happened at Matuga along Bombo road next to Everyday Biscuit when a Fuso truck that was carrying a plastic tank lost control and knocked an omnibus registration number UBA 028B critically injuring its occupants.

Faridah Nampiima the police spokesperson for traffic department says the cause of accident was after plastic tank fell off from truck causing the driver to lose control leading to head on head collusion with the Omni bus.

Police and locals used axes to rescue the victims from the car wreckage.

Mpiima attributed the cause of accident to over speeding and reckless driving.
