Minister Gen. Jim Muhwezi receiving some of the opposition supporters who had defected to the ruling NRM party in Rukungiri.

According to Muhwezi, the substantial influx of new members is a testament to the appeal and strength of the NRM party.

“The NRM party, unlike other political parties, works with and for the people rather than exploiting the people to achieve personal gains,” said Minister Muhwezi.

He emphasized the importance of the NRM party’s commitment to serving the people and delivering on its promises.

Muhwezi’s message comes at a time when the NRM party is working to consolidate its support and maintain political dominance in Uganda.
