πŸ“ŒThe Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa has called upon communities to join the fight against Malaria. He made the call as heΒ  joined other Members of Parliament and citizens in a walk intended to raise awareness on the fight against the disease.
“We must mobilise our communities to join the war against Malaria,” he said.
According to Tayebwa, Uganda loses over shillings 2.4 trillion every year to Malaria and kills about 52 Ugandans daily.

The team consists of four girls and three boys, with three instructors. They secured Uganda’s fourth position during the Pan African Robotics competition 2022 in Dakar, Senegal last year, earning them an invitation to participate in the World Robotic Championship in the United States. over 50 countries and 2,200 teams from all over the world are participating.

🌍 MALI: Blasts kill and injure dozens as 88 terrorists are put out of action
πŸ“ŒTen civilians and three soldiers were killed in a number of incidents across Mali on Saturday. The attacks began with car bombs near Sevare airport which killed 10 people and injured 61 others. They also destroyed some houses in the airport’s surrounding area, which is home to a Malian military camp.
