Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a Brazilian national identified as Douglas Martin Junior, who was found with a passport from Brazil (No. FU337925) with a syrup bottle.
According to Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Spokesperson of Kampala Metropolitan Police, it is alleged that on July 30, 2023, at around 9:00 a.m. Duoglas collapsed and died while he was at a clinic in Kagugube Parish in the Kawempe division.
His body was converged on the city mortuary in Mulago, and currently investigations are ongoing. Owoyesigyire said that the respective embassy had been informed about the situation, and the Police did a search of his premises and recovered some sorted drugs, a laptop, a phone, a Bible, and other documents.
