Arsenal signs Manchester City’s striker, Jesus Gabriel

Arsenal team has finalized the signing of the 25 year old, Manchester City striker, Gabriel Jesus after agreeing on personal terms.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist who specializes in football transfers, Jesus arrived in London to undergo his medicals on Tuesday morning, June 28th June 2022 and thereafter sign a five-year deal which will see him become Arsenal’s highest paid player until 2027.

The striker moved for a fee of £45m following an agreement between the two clubs.

The deal is now 100 per cent done according to Fabrizio and now confirmed Arsenal player.

His signing will bring an end to a long and tiresome search for a new forward by Mikel Arteta and Edu according to Fabrizio.

Jesus scored 95 goals in 236 appearances for City and is likely to be the long-awaited number 9 that Mikel Arteta has been keen to sign as the final piece of the puzzle at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal supporters have plenty to be positive about this summer and will hope that their new-look squad will be able to break into the top four next season.

Jesus will become Arsenal’s third confirmed signing of the summer, after midfielder Fabio Vieira joined from FC Porto in a £35 million deal, as well as American goalkeeper and Arsenal fan Matt Turner.
