Speaking to John Bagyenda, a businessman dealing in Human Resource consulting, he said that they are getting a challenge as some of the jobs are being replaced by machines. As a Recruitment agency, they now have to rethink what other roles and jobs can be targeted that are not going to be displaced by AI.

Additionally, he said, we as people must adapt to the new trend in order to keep up with it. He continued by saying that while AI can automate routine tasks, human input and supervision are still necessary for its proper operation. Consequently, there will probably be a rise in the need for personnel with specialised knowledge in fields like data science, machine learning, and cyber security. These workers will be responsible for designing and implementing AI systems as well as ensuring that they are functioning properly.

In an interview, Grace Namatovu, a Human Resource Consultant, said that individuals and organisations can adapt by upskilling and reskilling to meet the demand in industries. While organisations can provide training programmes to their employees to aid in the development of new talents, individuals can learn new skills by enrolling in online courses, attending workshops, and attending seminars.

Employers and individuals, according to Grace, need to concentrate on jobs that require a human touch. Numerous jobs will still require human interaction, and AI might not be as sensitive as people. Pay attention to occupations that need creativity, empathy, and interpersonal contact.

In order to improve your efficiency, she continued, it is crucial to welcome collaboration with AI rather than view it as a threat. AI, for instance, can help with data analysis so that people can make better judgements. AI-powered solutions can be used by businesses to automate repetitive operations, freeing up staff members to concentrate on more difficult jobs.
