📌A Ugandan pilot has been confirmed dead after a privately chartered plane he was in charge of crashed. Capt. Jackson Ninsiima, 34, hailing from Kiruhura district and another only identified as Peter, a Russian national were confirmed died on the spot after a privately chartered plane they were piloting crashed and immediately caught fire in the thick Democratic Republic of Congo forests. It has been reported that the private plane on route to Goma went missing late last week until a search indicated that it had crashed.

📌This year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) start today, 7th November 2022, with a briefing of candidates countrywide at the various examination centers. According to Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB), the field conduct of the examination will be handled by 139 district monitors, 12,391 scouts, 10,356 chief invigilators and 33,395 invigilators. UNEB says a number of security officers are being deployed across the country to support the exercise and ensure the security of the examinations.
