Uganda Hosts First Pharmaceuticals & Health Technologies Exhibition

East Africa Pharmatech, a Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Exhibition is currently being held at UMA Show Grounds Lugogo, Kampala, Uganda.

The exhibition is organized by 3S Fairs from New Delhi, India who have more than two decades of experience in this industry alongside the Uganda Manufacturers Association and the Government of Uganda.

The purpose of this premium show under the East Africa Exhibitions banner is to provide exposure to the unexplored potential in the East African market.

The event that started on 22nd March 2022 will end on 24th March 2022. The maiden event has brought together different health experts and providers from different parts of the world; Medical Professionals, Pharmacies, Hospitals, Health Organizations, Importers & Exporters, Decision Makers, and Medical Practitioners of the East African Region in Uganda.

Over 150 exhibitors are participating and with over 5000 visitors from Uganda and the East African Region. These will be attending medical conferences and seminars and touring the exhibitor’s stalls at the UMA grounds.

The growth in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector with companies like Kampala Pharmaceutical Industries, Beta Health Care Uganda, and Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited among others, makes such an event timely to be able to see what is being done well and what can be improved in the sector to create sustainability in the region and stable supply in the region.

With only one day left to the closure of the exhibition, members of the public are invited to participate by visiting, attending the conferences and seminars, and networking with other people from the rest of the region.
