H.E. Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, the President of Sao Tome, has arrived in Uganda to hold bilateral talks with President Yoweri K. Museveni.
According to the Presidential Press Unit (PPU), President Nova will be in Uganda for a two-day working visit, following an invitation from President Museveni.
In a statement dated October 26, 2023, President Nova arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 2:00 a.m. this morning.
“The Presidential Press Unit (PPU) wishes to inform the general public that the President of Sao Tome and Principe, H.E. Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, has arrived in the country on a two-day working visit, at the invitation of President Museveni,” PPU stated.
“He was received by the Director General of the External Security Organization (ESO), Ambassador Joseph Ocwet, and the Air Force Commandant, Lt. Gen. Charles Okidi,” PPU added.
President Nova will hold bilateral talks with President Museveni to strengthen ties between Uganda and Sao Tome.
