Opposition leaders Dr.Kizza Besigye and Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi are operating unconstitutional entities.
Dr.Kizza Besigye, a four time presidential candidate who after defeat in 2016, established a hypothetical government,he named the “people’s government” and declared himself the “people’s president”. Besigye claims to have won the 2016 presidential elections, but rigged out.
Dr.Kizza Besigye at his home in Kasangati also hosted the people’s parliament where he announced his state of the people address characterized by falsehoods and negativity.Besigye is operating, running and mobilizing political activities with a resemblance to national structures under “people’s government”.
Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi, Kyadondo East member of parliament is the founder of the people power movement,a pressure group that metamorphosed into a self styled political organization.
In a colorful event at his home in Magere on Wednesday last week,Hon.Kyagulanyi announced a team comprising of over 19 legislators as national coordinators who will lead his hunt for the hearts of the electorate come 2016.Most of this legislators were voted on different political party cards and aligned to different political parties.
The Ugandan constitution defines political organization as any free association or organization of persons, the objects of which include the influencing of the political process or sponsoring a political agenda, whether or not it also seeks to offer a platform for a candidate for election to political office or to participate in the governance of Uganda at any level.
