The leader of Forum for democratic change (FDC) Patric Amuriat has opened war against his senior and founder of FDC Dr. Kiiza Besigye.
Patrick Amuriat has openly declared that he will continue with defiance as means to cause change a strategy that was tried and failed due to lack of popular support from peace-loving Ugandans.
His plans to continue with this campaign directly contradicts Besigye’s new plans which he recently threw hints about.
In his words Dr. Besigye said that the new plan is for a violent free fight to cause change. “You can fight while sitting down. Our ancestors fought to get rid of colonial power and we have also already been fighting for some time now. We have not taken out guns, but we have been fighting,” he said.
He strongly added that there is a whole wide range of fighting and fighting does not necessarily mean violence or going back to the bush.
It is very clear that the two FDC diehards have no corporation at all and they are working as a different force.
Ugandans have been hit most by Covid 19 which has caused an economic slump fall. “The solutions that we want are economic solutions and nothing less or more. We do not want to ran on streets on empty stomachs, we do not bribes, we need insatiable solutions to our economy, we are tired of political games by some rogue leaders who even frustrate government plans,” Kiyinja Godfery a spare parts dealer from Kiseka dealer said.
The continuous deceptive echoes from opposition calling people to feel oppressed and providing no solution are very unfortunate from any one vying for power. The recent recent opposition party cross overs and defections tell a story of oppression and greed which draws lines that oppression occurs even in the blue the green and red.
Ugandans are being fed on falsehoods as a means employed by these so called forces of change. On several occasions people like Ssemujju Nganda have come out clear on shows like the capital Gang and said that their sole purpose is to oppose what the government is doing. And that’s where we are now. It takes more than an average citizen to realize the ditch in which opposition parties are dumping us. We need services, jobs and investments not money to go on streets.
Why would one pay me to riot instead of using the same money to start up programs that will change my life forever?
Fear gripped FDC when Besigye denounced presidential candidature. Patrick Amurait who was recorded on camera fronting no opposition for Besigye should he stand is now a vying for President. The question to my fellow Ugandans is; what plans does someone who doesn’t believe in himself have for Ugandans? How prepared is Amuriat for presidency basing on the fact that it was never his plan to ran?
These questions should help us see that these guys are opposing for the sake of opposing and not to do us any better. Not forgetting that they solicit political grants from foreign enemies.
