City lawyer Male Mabirizi has confirmed that Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, does not hold academic transcripts from the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB).

According to Mabirizi, he petitioned UNEB and requested Bobi Wine’s answer sheets for the Ordinary Level Certificate (UCE) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) to ascertain his (Bobi Wine’s) education level.

“Bobi Wine did not sit for UCE and UACE at Kitante Hill; like he would like all of us to believe, I wrote to UNEB on July 24, 2023, requesting to be provided with his transcripts and answer sheets,” Mabirizi said.

Mabirizi says that UNEB acknowledged receipt of his letter and informed him that they did not have any of the answer sheets used by Bobi Wine.

“I have finally confirmed that Bobi Wine obtained false registration and entry at Makerere University by using forged documents,” Mabirizi stated.

Mabirizi also stated that he got all of the paperwork Bobi Wine presented to the Electoral Commission in 2017 and discovered multiple discrepancies.

“He was born in 1982, as he claims, and the Makerere transcript shows that he was born on February 12, 1980,” Mabirizi said.

However, according to Bobi Wine, Parliament’s IT staff is to blame for changing his birth year from 1982 to 1980 without his knowledge, a narrative Mabirizi has refuted in light of the recent discoveries.

Mabirizi has been on a campaign to prove that Bobi Wine is a fraud who forged academic documents and is incapable of ruling the country due to his lack of education.
