President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is scheduled to resume his performance assessment tour of the Parish Development Model (PDM) in Eastern Uganda, beginning with the Bukedi sub-region on November 6, 2024.
The President initiated the evaluation assessment tours in 2023 under the theme “Wealth creation and prosperity for all, with emphasis on the Four-Acre Model, Parish Development Model, Emyooga, and other economic programs.”
He has since then traveled to the Acholi, West Nile, and Greater Masaka sub-regions for the same purpose.
According to the Presidential Press Unit (PPU), this initiative aims to transform subsistence households into a money economy and alleviate poverty among 17.5 million Ugandans across 3.5 million households.
“The Presidential Press Unit (PPU) informs the General Public that the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, will resume his performance assessment tour of the Parish Development Model (PDM) in Eastern Uganda, starting with Bukedi Sub-Region on November 6, 2024. During the tour, H.E. the President will meet various stakeholders, including leaders and technical staff, and address public rallies at various venues in the respective districts,” PPU’s statement reads.
