Jimmy Ssentongo commonly known as Spire, through his Twitter handle, announced a second phase of exhibitions that focuses on Uganda’s Education system, encompassing both public and private learning institutions at all levels.

He stated that the event was to commence Monday 11, 2023  under the the hashtag #UgandaEducationExhibition, and that he had recruited Monica Katasii, alias NUP Quin, to help promote the exhibition.

“On Monday next week, we shall resume the Exhibitions with the hashtag ‘Uganda Education Exhibition’ which many had called for earlier. Focus is on Public and private, all levels. Gather material over the weekend for exhibition (photos, testimonies) will be led by Jeje Odea @joshjeje2” Spire said

However, this exhibition has not garnered much attention, unlike previous ones, due to allegations made by his influencers. They claim that Spire failed to fulfill their agreed-upon payment.

Monica says Spire had received money from NUP party leaders to share with the media team in order to facilitate their work, but had kept the money for himself.

“He got money from our party leaders to share with the media team to do the work but I think Spire is just greedy because even last time we had to exchange words to get the little money from him,” Monica said.

Lawrence Kato, alias Katoparty, a NUP supporter, noted that the media team consists of over one hundred people who should each receive a facilitation of Ugx 500,000 for data, airtime, and transport. Kato suggested that Spire’s greed had led to the team abandoning their work until their shares were surrendered.

Kato also observed that only Joshua, whom Spire appointed to lead the exhibitions, were tweeting content. He asserted that effectiveness comes with teamwork, and that the only option the team had was to turn against Spire and his comrade Josh.

“You can even see this from the media platforms, mainly Twitter. Only Josh and Spire are tweeting such content because their pockets are happy but they can’t manage without us because effectiveness comes with teamwork,” he said.

He concluded by suggesting that NUP leaders should stop funding Spire, as these exhibitions were not yielding the expected results, and that it was Spire’s technique to draw money from the party leaders.
