Micho Confirms Uganda Crane’s Final Squad for 2023 AFCON Qualifier Match

Milutin Sredojevic, alias Micho, the head coach of the national football team, the Uganda Cranes, has unveiled the final squad that is set to fly to Morocco for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifier match against Niger.

According to Micho, the squad is composed of 23 players who will fly to Morocco on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. aboard Emirates Airlines.

Micho revealed that he is expecting the best out of the selected players because he has done his best to cultivate their potential.

“After days of preparations in Kampala, I believe we are at the best level to go and compete against Niger. We already have two foreign players, Taddeo Lwanga and Abdu Aziizi Kayondo, who have been training with us while the rest will join us in Marrakech,” Micho said ahead of the match.
