Hon. Francis Zaake, Member of the 11th Parliament representing Mityana Municipality, is embracing lonely, cold nights after his wedded wife Bridget Namirembe, ran off to Canada, abandoning him over his adulterous ways.

According to Edith Katende, a close friend of Bridget, the recently wed couple has been having unending conflicts stemming from Zaake’s infidelity, matters in which Barbra Kyagulanyi has always intervened. Bridget, however, has made the decision to leave after Zaake’s habit seemed to keep growing.

“Bridget would always seek counsel from Barbra, who would sit with them down and help to resolve their differences. Zaake would promise not to cross the line again, she believed him. However, a few months after the wedding, things turned for the worse, forcing Bridget to withdraw from keeping company with fellow women in NUP,” Katende said.

Edith went on to say that Bridget’s patience had finally run out due to Zaake’s relationship with their housekeeper. Sources say she secretly planned her exit and relocation mission without informing anyone close to the couple’s circle.

However, Enron Kiiza Zaake’s lawyer denied the allegations, saying if the Zaakes’ had any marital problems, he would have known. He also noted that it is true that Bridget is with Zaake in Canada on a business trip.

A statement Katende has disputed and noted that, of course, as their lawyer, there is no way he can reveal his clients’ secrets; he has to deny it to protect his clients’ image.

Edith added that all she knows is what her friend Bridget shared, and she revealed that Zaake is in Canada to plead with his wife to return home and take care of their children and home.

During Uganda Martyrs Day, Zaake appeared in a torn trouser with a very tight-fitting bust coat, a fashion most Ugandans queried, however, with the above revelations, one can only conclude that his wife’s abandonment has left him fashion-stricken.
