The Uganda Peoples Defend Force has stepped up preparations for this year’s Tarehe Sits celebrations with a wide range of community oriented activities in different parts of the country.
As part of the activities to mark #Tarehesita2019, the UPDF’s Medical team led by Maj.Dr. Jennifer Alanyo spent yesterday in Nwoya District, providing a range of health services that included Free male circumcision, eye & dental services & mosquito nets to wanainchi.
Meanwhile, in Entebbe’s Kitoro zone, Col.Peter Candia led a team of SFC solidiers in cleaning its surroundings & sensitizing residents about proper disposal of waste.
In Nakawa, led by RCC @harderHB , the UPDF led drives to de-clogg drainage systems around Bukoto, Naguru & Nakawa suburbs.
