Uganda Airlines has added a smile to the faces of the She-Cranes players after presenting a package of over Shs 56 million and passenger tickets ahead of the Netball World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa.
This comes after Uganda Airlines was announced as the official travel partner for the She Cranes for the forthcoming 2023 Netball World Cup.
“We are delighted to inform you that Uganda Airlines are our official travel partners for the Netball World Cup.” This relationship came with cash of 56.34 and passenger tickets,” the Uganda Netball Federation (UNF) tweeted.
The announcement was made during the launch of sponsorship held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at ARVS International School in Nakirebe Mpigi District.
Uganda Airlines proudly expressed its happiness over its partnership with the indomitable She Cranes, in which it has assurance of victory in South Africa. The Uganda Airlines Central Executive Officer (CEO), Jenifer Bamuturaki, pledged continued support for young talents in the country

Deo Nyanzi, the Uganda Airlines Sales and Marketing Manager, said that Netball has a nice profile and a good story in terms of performance and achievement globally, stating that Netball is among the most successful sports in the nation.
“On behalf of the Uganda Netball Federation, I commend Uganda Airlines for making a rightful choice. She Cranes is a well-known and supported brand globally, we are going to give you the visibility that you deserve and we are going to use the money effectively “, UNF CEO Banya Francis said.
Banya revealed She Cranes outfits in World Cup will be branded with Uganda Airlines either at the back or front of the matchday kit.
According the Netball World Cup fixtures, Uganda is in group D with New Zealand, Trinidad and Tobago and Singapore, who are all defending champions.
