President Museveni Passes-Out Armour Crews, Commanders

On the 21st of July, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni presided over a pass-out ceremony at the prestigious Karama Armoured Warfare Training School, where he awarded commendations to admirable armour crews and commanders.

At Karama Armoured Warfare Training School, 336 highly skilled armour crews and 55 accomplished armour platoon leaders successfully completed their gruelling training. This incredible accomplishment is a crucial step forward in their journey to becoming capable defenders of our country.

The president expressed his deepest congratulations to the trainees for successfully completing their training in a significant ceremony. He pleaded with them to embrace patriotism over personal ambition, highlighting that the UPDF is a prestigious organisation committed to selfless service above all else.

President Museveni also stressed the need for continual learning in the area of warfare stating that studying enabled the growth of the NRA/UPDF.

“The ability to continuously learn and build the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) is crucial,” Museveni said.

President Museveni has stressed the NRA/UPDF’s tremendous strength, crediting it to a consistent commitment to continued skill development. The President emphasised the importance of developing trainees who have the potential for a bright career within the highly disciplined ranks of the UPDF.
