The Reds’ 7-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday, March 5, 2023, will be remembered forever by everyone who witnessed it at Anfield. The magical defeat will forever remain a permanent memory in the minds of Manchester United fans.

At the end of the extraordinary, shocking game, baying groupies of the glittering Liverpool flooded social media platforms with revelations about number seven, where some of them daydreamed about Uganda’s courageous and famous president, whose botanical name, Museveni, captures the word seven.

According to Israelite culture and literature, the number seven communicates a sense of fullness and completeness. No wonder God rested the work of creation on the seventh day and made it holy. Also, the walls of Jericho fell after Israelites marched around the city seven times.

Basing on the above, some Ugandan Liverpool fans argued that their darling team indeed needed such a riotous win to break the walls of Manchester United and become more compatible and perfect in the league table, just like Uganda needs President Museveni’s anointing to attain fullness, completeness, and perfection in every sector.

In football, number seven is reserved for wingers and second strikers who can score goals with ease as well as supply goal-scoring opportunities to other strikers.

President Museveni has since January 26, 1986, served Uganda with the same anointing as he has straddled Uganda’s political landscape like a colossus for almost four decades.

In truth, during this time, Uganda has pulled back from the edge of the political abyss and has recovered from being an economic basket case. Uganda today is truly the house that Museveni has built while playing number seven in Uganda’s political field. The anointing of victory in number seven on Museveni holds Uganda in the seven heavens.
