The President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni while speaking to BBC recently revealed a plot by People Power to destabilize Uganda.

Bobi Wine is incidentally on a western world tour meeting with mainly Pro Gay activists that have previously vowed to remove the government in Uganda by all means.

The revelation by the President is not new. The links between People Power and new violent militias have been known for sometimes.

City Murders

The groups have vowed to make Uganda ungovernable and undesirable to live in. They are associated with the rampant murders and kidnaps in the city.

The tactics of this group were first witnessed in the Arua by election with the subsequent murder of Ya sin Kawuma and the attempt to attack the presidential convey.

Methodology

The group also aims to make Uganda an unfavorable destination for foreign investors through riots and demonstrations.

People power operatives have been seen and heard in social media chatter claiming this wave of terror. They have also been heard mobilizing other Ugandans to join this struggle to destroy the fabric of our country.

The group has also been in charge of attempts of destroying other political parties with the aim of making Uganda’s political landscape appear unfair and unbalanced.

Strike back

The president vowed to crush this movement on international media in an open and balanced forum.

The Deputy IGP also revealed a road map to crush this uprising on orders from the President.

Uganda has come from very far and achieved a lot of ground both politically and economically. The population needs to resist this wave of lies and attempts to drive us backwards all in the name of power.

Bobi Wine has been a Legislator for over two years and has failed to even deliver a single piece of a bill.

He has done nothing thus far to get the kind of leeway he seeks to run this country. We need to be wary of saviors that come under such auspices.

They seldom deliver on their promises and are never apologetic of their means.
