πThe Government is considering establishing national remuneration boards that will look into the remuneration of all public servants including commissions, come next financial year. The Minister of Public Service, Wilson Muruuli Mukasa saysΒ it was recommended that a board, composed of experts and eminent people, with no personal interests in pay or in the service, study issues of salary and look at harmonization of salary from time to time and make meaningful recommendations to the Government.

πGeorge Wajackoyah, the leader of the Roots Party has claimed that 2.8 million votes were stolen from him in the previous election. πOpposition leader Raila Odinga has continued his vocal criticism of the Ruto administration, making a bold comparison during a rally at Jacaranda grounds. He likened the Ruto Government to the biblical tax collector Zacchareus, known for his unethical and exploitative practices. Odinga told Kenyans to resist paying taxes, claiming that they were punitive and unjust.
