Breaking News: Gen.Katumba Wamala Survives Assassination which has left his daughter Dead

General Katumba Wamala has sustained serious bullet Injuries in an armed assassination attempt on him a few minutes after Nine O’clock  this morning.

This happened around Kisasi on the lane that connects Bukoto to Kisasi and Kurambiro. The assassination attempt however left Gen. Wamala’s daughter by the names of Brenda and his body guard dead on spot.

Shortly after the incident, The general was rushed to Malcom clinic in Kisasi by an unnamed Boda boda guy for first aid. He was minutes later rushed to Medipal Hopistal which is located at Acacia Avenue Kololo near Golf Course.

According to Hon. Baryomunsi, the communication from the Hospital indicates that the general is in a stable condition and will make it.

Phone video recordings from people on scene that are making rounds on social media, show the general covered in blood on Both shoulders and legs and begging for help shortly before the boda boda man helped.

Information from the people in the neighborhood of the crime scene say the noise of the bullets sounded like a big noise of a Subaru vehicle which minutes later went silent.

However, the Explorer has learnt from eye witnesses that the assailants were riding on two BMW Motorcycles and each with a shooter passenger.

The assassination attempt on Katumba follows several successful assassinations of Former AIGP Kawesi, ASP Kirumira, Hon. Abiriga and several others.
