Uganda Tourism Board appoints new chairman

The Hon. Minister of State for tourism, Godfrey Kiwanda Ssubi has announced and presented Ms. Lilly Ajarova as the new CEO of Uganda Tourism Board (UTB).

She will be deputized by Mr. Bradford Ochieng.

Lilly Ajarova is appointed as the chief executive officer of the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB).

Ajarova, who has been the executive director of the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust, replaces Stephen Asiimwe who served the agency for nearly seven years.

Ajarova received lots of congratulations from the online community for her precious work in the industry.

Work at the board had stalled for long period after the departure of the previous board.

Congratulations to the new team as we hope to see the industry grow and reach the top.
