The Forum for Democratic Change is facing it’s biggest challenge for survival as key party members continue to dropout with the latest being KASESE MP Robert CENTENARY who follows KASESE Woman MP Winnie Kizza.

Kizza who has dropped out of elective politics is a former leader of opposition in PARLIAMENT. Last week Paul Mwiru also crosses over to the ANT of Mugisha MUNTU, former FDC party PRESIDENT.

The FDC party has been criticises for it’s non accommodative brand of politics championed by Besigye and now party spokesman Semujju Nganda. The non accommodative stance on issues such as coalition has alienated many of it’s supporters including Nabilah Seggayi who was ejected from the party after showing interest in standing against Elias Lukwago for Mayor of KCCA.

The emergency of People has also robbed the FDC of combative youth that promoted to their abusive firebrand politics. The two parties clearly appeal to the same crowd and it remains to be seen how the two bulls will leave in the same kraal.

The FDC appears to be on its last legs. Kizza Besigye has had to come out vehemently to defend his decision to keep standing on the party’s Presidential Flag bearer card amidst attacks from observers to give an opportunity to other players.

However, Besigye needs not worry any more about Internal competition as the big guns have decided to fire on their own and not ride on his tired back.

Worse, FDC declared that it won’t be joining any coalition ahead of the Elections exposing their hypocrisy for all to see. The people power group had advised them to join their movement, and that it would integrate some of them in their future shadow cabinets.
