The controversies that surround the death of Micheal Kalinda alias Ziggy Wine  have come to an end with new facts revealing the actual lead to his death.

Ziggy Wine, met his death through an accident and not torture as social media propaganda earlier circulated .

The Police spokes person Fred Enanga has issued a statement in a press conference today which explains the circumstance in which Kalinda passed on. “ On the 21st July 2019, a speeding motorcycle Honda heading in the direction of Kyebando knocked down a lady and gentleman leaving the rider who was later identified to be Micheal Kalinda with severe injuries,” Enanga Said.

Kalinda was later picked by the relatives and taken to Mulago hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.

Accounts from some witnesses on the scene who declined to be identified reveal that when Ziggy crashed with another motorcycle, he  banged his head in a ditch and his Honda bike also fell on him.

Whereas social media rumours circulated that Ziggy’s eyes were plucked out, Mulago Hospital medics that treated him dispel the information and say he had injuries on the right eye and a burn on his body that could have resulted from the bike falling and resting on him, hence burnt by the exhaust.

These fresh details dispel the former incites on social media that were linking the death of Ziggy Wine to his support to People Power.
