Events to Enjoy During Your 3-Day Weekend

As we head for the long weekend that starts tomorrow, June 9, 2023, one may wonder how they are going to enjoy it to the fullest. This article will breakdown all the big events happening this weekend that you can enjoy.

BoysIIMen Concert

BoysIIMen, one of the most iconic R&B groups in the music industry’s history, will be performing in Uganda on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, courtesy of Capital FM, as they announce the launch of the “MTN YETU FESTIVAL”. The group has redefined popular music and continues to create timeless hits that appeal to fans across all generations.

Silver tickets will be going for Shs 150,000 (main area MOMO), Shs 200,000 (main area), and Shs 300,000 for the silver tickets. The famous Kenyan Sauti Sol group will also be performing alongside BoysIIMen.

The group’s mega hits include “End of the Road“, I’ll Make Love to You“, “One Sweet Day“, “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday“, “Motownphilly” and “On Bended Knees“.

Pallaso Love Fest

Singer Pius Mayanja, alias Pallaso, is also having a concert starting tomorrow, June 9, 2023 at Lugogo Cricket Oval. Ordinary tickets will go for Shs15,000 on MoMo pay, 20,000 cash, Shs50,000 for VIP, Shs 3 million for VVIP Table, and Shs 5 million for Platinum.

Pallaso will also be at the Mbarara AGIP Hotel on June 10 and at Fortportal Stadium on June 11, 2023. His famous songs include Mpa Love, Malamu and Akomererwe,

Alien Skin Sitya Danger

Patrick Mulwana, aka Alien Skin, is holding his first concert on the same day as Pallaso, and it will be taking place at Freedom City on Entebbe Road on Friday, June 9, 2023. Entry fees will be Shs10,000 and Shs20,000 for VIP.

On June 6, 2023, Inspector General of Police Omoding Wilson Otuna gave the event the all-clear. Some of his famous songs include Sitya Danger, Enfunayo, and Mbatisana, to mention but a few.
