Ugandan musician turned politician, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine on Friday December 16th 2022 together with his family flew to Seychelles islands for Christmas holidays.
The National Unity Platform (NUP) party President Bobi Wine was seen by eye witnesses departing to Seychelles through Entebbe International Airport aboard Ethiopian Airlines flight number ET335 with his entire family.
“Kyagulanyi is out of the Country. He traveled with his wife and children to the Seychelles islands for Christmas celebrations,” eye witnesses stated.
In several photos circulating in Seychelles media, Bobi Wine is seen with his wife Barbie Itungo and children on the different beaches like West Beach-North Island and at expensive hotels on the island splashing dollars indeed as big spenders.
Over the past few weeks, Bobi Wine traversed the different parts of the globe including Prague, Amsterdam, Casablanca among others mobilizing resources to run party activities. He made announcements all over social media of these travels and plastered social media with pictures of the places visited.
However, Wine, a renowned social media user, has not posted anything about his Christmas vacation in Seychelles islands.
Information from the insider revealed that the Principal’s departure with his family is a secret kept within his nuclear family and kept from party members and leaders.
“Due to fear of being scrutinized by other party leaders, Bobi has kept their travel a secret excluding other party members,” a supporter stated.
This has left party supporters questioning their Principal’s conduct for going on a vacation when some workers at the NUP headquarters haven’t been paid.
“We are wondering whether he’s not using party resources on expensive trips for family while we are starving. Some of us haven’t been paid salaries for November and December but he is splashing money on unnecessary vacations,” an insider revealed.
“I think he left us in the struggle and moved on to enjoy his life,” the source continued.
According to eyewitnesses, Bobi Wine’s family vacation will last till 5th January 2023, when he is expected to land back in Uganda.
