πŸ“Œ Dr. Victoria Nakibuuka, a senior consultant neonatologist at St. Francis Hospital Nsambya said that a team of doctors and nurses are going to set up lactation centres in the hospitals of Mengo, Rubaga, Kibuli and Naguru National Referral Hospital where they will collect human breast milk. Nakinuuka said this milk will benefit premature, critically ill new-borns, babies born through Caesarean section and those whose mothers cannot breastfeed immediately due to anaesthesia, multiple babies whose mothers cannot produce adequate breast milk, plus those abandoned by their mothers.
