The Uganda Wild Authority (UWA) has temporarily shut down the visitor operations office at the Sheraton Hotel due to internal reorganisation.

According to Stephen Masaba, the Director Tourism and Business Development at UWA, the authority is undergoing a restructure in order to improve its client services.

Masaba noted that they anticipate some temporary disruptions that may result in minor delays in service delivery, especially at the headquarters reservation offices and at some game park gates.

“Please rest assured that we are making every effort to ensure these disruptions are kept to a minimum. We are working diligently to streamline our process and systems, allowing us to serve you even more efficiently in the future,” Masaba stated.

Masaba apologised for any inconveniences the disruptions may have caused and expressed gratitude for the continued patronage and support.

UWA manages 10 national parks, 12 wildlife reserves, 5 community wildlife management areas, and 13 wildlife sanctuaries.
