Samuel Kato, a local entrepreneur in Jinja, has expressed excitement about the facility, stating that it will create a fun and safe environment for everyone to enjoy the beauty of the Nile while engaging in an exhilarating activity.

“This slide is not just about the thrill; it’s about creating unforgettable memories with loved ones. The attraction is equipped with safety measures, including trained lifeguards and modern safety equipment, ensuring a secure environment for all visitors,” Kato said.

Sarah Mbabazi, a tourist from Kampala, after enjoying the water slide, described it as an amazing thrill.

“It’s amazing! Sliding into the Nile is so much fun, and the view of the river is just stunning,” Mbabazi exclaimed.

Grace Nsubuga, a local tourism official in Jinja, said the water slide is significant in boosting the local economy by creating jobs.

Jinja is a hub for adventure tourism; the new water sliding attraction is set to become a must-visit destination for thrill-seekers and families alike.

The natural beauty of the Nile and its many surrounding sites and water-sliding venture is poised to make waves in Uganda’s tourism industry.
