Security has warned political leaders to desist from reckless utterances regarding attacks by the Allied Democratic Terrorists in Kasese. SCP Fred Enanga, the Police spokesperson issued the warning on Monday, June 26, 2023, during a weekly security media brief held at Naguru police headquarters. Enanga trashed statements faulting the joint security team for responding late to pursue a section of ADF rebels who had attacked Lhubiriha Secondary School in Mpondwe Town Council, killing 37 students instantly. According to Enanga, this was a political statement aimed at maligning Security organs. A total of over 20 suspects have since been arrested by Security in connection with the Kasese attack.
