Police Speaks Out On Wandegeya Bomb Scare

The Uganda police force has cleared air about the alleged bomb planted in the KCCA gardens opposite Wandegeya police station.

Luke Owoyesigire the Kampala Metropolitan deputy police spokesperson says a person came and dug around the KCCA gardens opposite the police station and buried some items inside a polythene bag.

“We called our experts from Bomb squad who have un earthed what had been buried and recovered polythene bags and clothes”. Owoyesigire says.

He adds that the suspect has been arrested with the help of the CCTV cameras after detecting him at the scene.
