Nature Bio Foods Opens Plant in Uganda

Nature Bio Foods has opened a new plant in Uganda. The new plant will be responsible for the purchase and processing of soybean meal, as well as the growth of the product line, which will include chia seeds, sesame seeds, and sorghum. The facility will have a capacity of 10,000 metric tonnes in its first year and 18,000 metric tonnes by 2024.

Nature Bio Foods is an organic business support of LT Foods, which sells basmati rice under the Daawat and Royal brands.

LT Food is a manufacturer of branded specialty food. It mills, processes, and markets branded and non-branded basmati rice, as well as manufactures rice food products for the domestic and international markets.

LT Foods is trading at Rs. 178.80, up 2.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 173.65 on the BSE. The stock has reached highs and lows of Rs. 178.95 and 171.05, with 2838 shares traded. The BSE group ‘A’ stock has reached 52-week highs and lows, with a market cap of Rs. 6030.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.78% and 39.22%, respectively.
