New Poll Ranks Museveni Higher as Amateur Bobi Wine Limps

Member of Parliament for Kyaddondo East, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu (Bobi Wine) continues to make imaginary claims that he represents Ugandans who he purports to speak for.

A case in point is when he was under preventive arrest after being picked up from Busabala where he intended to stage acts prejudicial to public safety and security.

Visited by several MPs led by Leader of Opposition, Ms. Betty Aol Ochan, Kyagulanyi claimed to speak for all Ugandans while attacking President Yoweri Museveni whom he stated “they” wanted to remove from State House and that they were not scared of him.

Bobi Wine cannot claim to speak for Ugandans because, evidently, according to a new poll recently published by a local daily, most Ugandans apart from him, still prefer Museveni as their leader.

It is Museveni who by the will of Ugandans, is still in charge of the forty million Ugandans that the upstart legislator claims to lead. Nobody has sent him to fight for them as he claims because Ugandans have long been empowered to fight for themselves.

Bobi’s claims are the traditional antics of an upstart politician excited about their new found fame on the slope to oblivion.

In real Opposition terms, four-time presidential aspirant Dr. Kizza Besigye who also miserably lost to Museveni with a mere 3,508,687 votes, would command some mandate to speak for a section of Ugandans who voted him albeit, to a miserable loss to Museveni in the 2016 general elections.

There are many other leaders who have attained more votes than Kyagulanyi would but they know their limits. If anyone is to speak up to Museveni, Besigye could stand a narrow chance.

Kyagulanyi, through his mobs on social media, has also made it a habit to disrespect and harass Besigye who at one time he claimed to be his idol.

The plan is to overshadow him as the opposition kingpin but the FDC titan is also fighting back and will soon neutralize that small threat.

Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine is known for being a social misfit who lived out the early part of his life as a ruffian. His continuous attacks on President Museveni are a continuation of his old habits but Museveni has no time for small conflicts. He has fought and won major fights and does not need to prove anything.

In Bobi Wine’s music career, his idea of entertainment has always been feuding with other people and using coarse language as way to get back at his poor upbringing.

The rate at which he is playing his politics, he will soon wear out and die out like a candle. Nobody wants to kill him as he always purports, all in the name of winning public sympathy. He made for himself enemies at every turn long before he joined politics.

Kyagulanyi should sort out his issues with law enforcement which for long has spared him from charges of drug abuse before he gets totally fooled by his illusionary politics.

Besides, what he is going through is not persecution, as he claims, but the “reward” for his character flaws. Kyagulanyi has failed to grow up despite falling out of the youth bracket. Before he knows it, he will be a wasted old man paying for his sins.

Ugandans are in charge of their destiny. They have entrusted President Museveni with their concerns and will entirely render him their support as Uganda transforms into a middle income economy sooner.
