Ministry of Works Reschedules Driver License Mobile Enrollment Excercise in Kigezi to Next Week

The ministry of works and transport in partnership with Uganda Drivers Licensing System (UDLS) has postponed the driver license mobile enrollment exercise in Kigezi sub region  to Next Week.

In a statement issued out on January 22, 2025, the Ministry stated that the exercise will start on Monday 27th to Friday 31st at Kabale Municipality offices in the Northern Division Hall.

“During the mass mobile driving enrollment we shall be stationed in Northern division Hall where we shall be attending to all your driver licensing needs and for more inquiries the public is hereby urged to reach out to us on a toll free line; 0800211002,’’ the Ministry stated.

The Driver License enrollment exercise is set to benefit and attract several drivers from the districts of Kisoro, Kabale Rukiga, Rubanda, Rukungiri, Rukiga, and Kanungu which decentralizes the issuance of driving licenses in several regions, beneficiaries in order to bring services closer to the people.
