Kyadondo East MP-elect Nkunyingi Muwadda has rejected Bobi Wine’s offer of Shs 500M to resign his seat to pave way for a reelection of Bobi Wine into Kyadondo East.

Bobi wine will be ex MP for Kyadondo East come June 30th once the new Parliament is sworn in.

The reason for the lucrative offer to Muwadda Nkunyingi is that Bobi Wine having lost Presidential elections is now dying to become an MP which will automatically make him Leader of Opposition in Parliament, NUP being the incoming majority Opposition Party.

Bobi wine is targeting the LOP annual budget of Shs 10Bn which is 50 BN in 5 years of a Parliamentary tenure. He wants to control the LOP budget directly so he can use it as he wishes, divulged an insider at Kamwokya-based NUP offices.

According to Joel Ssenyonyi, NUP has no chance of taking Government in the next 10 years so it is time they benefited from spoils of Government as a team which has 57 MPs.

It is the reason Bobi Wine has rejected other choices for the position of LOP including Mathias Mpuuga, Muwanga Kivumbi, Betty Nambooze and Medard Ssegona. He fears if any of them takes over as LOP, they won’t be controllable.

Bobi Wine wants a LOP puppet like Hon John Baptist Nambeshe. In case of a by-election, he will stand in order to take the position himself.

Bobi Wine inner circle is praying hard that Court throws out Kawempe North-elect Segirinya Richard Muhamad from the House over false academic documents so that Bobi Wine can stand in Kawempe North having tried in vain to convince Nkunyingi Muwadda to resign seat.
